I think a lot about how whenever we travel, the weather can truly make or break a destination. We make snap judgements on cities we’ve been in for 48 hours, by the strangers that cross our paths, the weather conditions changing plans, or the other tourists around us.

But the truth is, a lot of the places we’re quick to judge, can be perceived completely differently by others. I myself fall prey to this at times, which is why in recent years, I’ve far preferred the art of slow travelling, or revisiting destinations I never had much desire to return to, if whoever I was travelling with wanted to go.

And it’s in moments like these, when you’re lucky and the weather clears up and the sun shines through, that you can stumble on these accidentally beautiful days, with great company and sights to boot.
