There’s something truly romantic about autumn and the falling of leaves as the wind blows.

I love seasons because it’s something I never grew up with, so it’ll always feel like a bit of magic, and transport me a million miles away.

And for this to have been my first trip overseas since the onset of the pandemic, that made it all the more special. Just that feeling of getting away was all that I really craved after two years of what felt like groundhog day. The endless cycle of getting up everyday to run on a hamster wheel, with nothing to really look forward to, nothing to break up the routine.

It was all about getting lost, somewhere else; anywhere else.
