When it comes to sunset spots in Melbourne, few can beat the lookout at Point Ormond, just south of the city near the beach suburb of St Kilda. Especially since from here, you get an unobstructed view of the city skyline.

It’s one of the premier picnicking spots and it’s not hard to see why. Watching the sun go down here while everyone sat in awe of the colours of golden hour was definitely one of my favourite experiences in Melbourne.
